For Those Adult Catholics Who Have Been Baptized But Not Confirmed

A Time For Adult Confirmation Will Be Held On June 4 at Mary Our Queen Cathedral

Confirmation is the sacrament by which those born anew in baptism receive the seal of the Holy Spirit, the Gift of the Father. Confirmation brings an increase and deepening of baptismal grace.  Along with Baptism and the Eucharist, Confirmation is a sacrament of initiation, initiation into the full life of the Catholic Church. By the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. They are true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.
