Weather related announcement
Everyone is advised to use caution and recognize that when the weather is too inclement or dangerous for travel, one is not obliged to attend Mass. We encourage, however, that you turn on your radios Sunday morning to listen to the 9:30 a.m. live broadcast of Radio Mass of Baltimore on WBAL -- 1090 on the AM dial -- if you are unable to attend Mass in person. Please know that just as we did on December 20, at St. Ignatius Church we will celebrate all our Masses (4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. 9:15/9:30 a.m. combined (live broadcast), 10:30 a.m., and 6:00 p.m.).
There will be a Daily Mass at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the Season of Lent which begins February 17. This is in addition to the Daily Masses at 7:25 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. All Daily Masses are celebrated in the Chapel of Grace (use Reeves Gallery/Ignatian Hall entrance).
Congratulations to Gene Caruso, Alfred Nkere and Sebastian Price, the new members of our Pastoral Council effective as of January 1, 2010. We thank the outgoing members, Joan Finucci, Carol Hillery and Ken Moore whose three-year terms have now expired.
The second semester PREP calendar is available here. Our Sunday school catechesis welcomes all families and children at St. Ignatius ranging from pre-K to 12th grade. Registration forms for the 2009-2010 year can be downloaded here for printing. If you have any questions or would like to discuss what PREP can offer your child, contact PREP coordinator Sebastian Price.

Lives in the Making
In a spiritual exploration and celebration of creativity and community, the Lives in the Making ministry has spent several months exploring the themes of the dignity of work, the integrity of creation, and love of the poor, facilitated by community activist and artist Jay Wolf Schlossberg-Cohen, creating paintings and collages that will serve as the basis for a mural that will be completed and installed at the Dogwood restaurant in Fall 2009.
