Pastoral Council

Our Pastoral Council advises our pastor on parish issues and plans and coordinates programs and services. The Council is an active, committed focus group that communicates options and decisions with parishioners.

Pastoral Plan

This is the Pastoral Plan for St. Ignatius approved by Bishop Madden.

The Pastoral Council and many others in the parish have labored and prayed over this manifesto to articulate what Jesuits call “our way of proceeding.”

We ask our parishioners to study and pray over our guiding principles, our vision, and our sacred purpose. In these statements, you will find what we believe, who we are, and who we are striving to become.

From these statements flow what we are doing, and how we are doing it.

Kevin-Burdinski

Kevin Burdinski

President

Kevin's journey into the St. Ignatius community in 2018 started as a lapsed Catholic, initially driven by a promise to his girlfriend to return to Mass when he believed that Jesuits were solely associated with educational institutions. Although he continues to contemplate his relationship with the Catholic Church on a broader scale, Kevin's enduring connection with Father Jim and the St. Ignatius community has led him to embrace his appointment to the Council with enthusiasm, eagerly engaging in its mission. Currently residing in Severna Park with his wife Kendall, with whom he no longer attempts to outwit, Kevin's faith journey is marked by the warmth and love he has found within his parish.
