As members of the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church, we are called to celebrate and share the gifts of diversity of sexuality and gender in our church today.
Embracing God’s Gifts ministry (EGG) recognizes, supports, and encourages the goodness of LGBTQ+ Catholics as integral members of our parish life.
Our mission is to create opportunities for spiritual enrichment, emotional support and a sense of belonging for all individuals. As a ministry, EGG hosts and facilitates presentations on church teaching and spiritually-nourishing literature as a means of fostering awareness and community building. A monthly Scripture study, prayer services, and retreats are also part of this ministry's outreach to the parish, other parishes in the Archdiocese, and members of other denominations. Overall, we strive to encourage and support members and allies through various spiritual, social, and community service activities.
We invite any interested person with compassion and an open mind and heart to join us and participate in this community of sexually diverse and gender diverse people. Family members and allies are warmly welcome!
