The Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice (IFTJ) is an annual gathering for members of the Ignatian family (Jesuit institutions and larger church) to come together in the context of social justice and solidarity to learn, reflect, pray, network, and advocate together. It is a place where people are empowered, re-energized, inspired, challenged, and supported by a community that sees faith and justice integrally linked.

Now in its 21st year, the IFTJ has a rich history rooted in honoring the Jesuits and their companions who were martyred in El Salvador in 1989.

Virtually join the Ignatian family across the U.S. for dynamic speakers, prayer, virtual networking, and shared reflection opportunities as we explore the realities of migration—both on the border and in communities across the country.

Who is it for? The virtual Teach-In is geared toward both individuals and groups; schools, parishes, and community groups are encouraged to invite local institutions to join them for a virtual Teach-In watch party to promote greater networking and reflection opportunities.

Features:

WATCH IT LIVE OR WATCH IT LATER Registered participants will have access to the broadcast recording and prayer/reflection resources.

IT’S AS EASY AS PRESSING PLAY We’ll stream the broadcast from the virtual Teach-In page, and once you hit play, we’ll take care of the rest. All registered participants will receive prayer and individual/group reflection resources ahead of time.

CONNECT WITH THE IGNATIAN FAMILY Registered participants will have the option of engaging in shared virtual reflection, and ISN will maintain an active discussion on social media using #IFTJ

If you have any questions, please contact ISN at info@ignatiansolidarity.net.
